He has now also figured out the army crawl. It is main mode of transpertation, and that mixed with rolling will allow him to book it just about anywhere in the living room he pleases. i am trying to baby proof the house now that he is moble, and finding everyday there are things that i miss. who would have thought the one little piece of paper left on the intertainment stand turned book shelf would find its way into Drew's mouth? Thanks Murphys law!
And cheerios! they are heaven sent! The. Best. Fingerfood. EVER! Drew adores his cheerios! i will put a handful on the tray of his saucer, and in 15 mins they are gone! He is getting so good at grabbing them. At first they would be in his fist and end up plastered to his forehead or cheek, but now he is gripping them with his finger and thumb, and they end up in his mouth every single time! i am so proud.
We have also figured out splashing in the bath tub. it took him long enough and now that it is in his "tool box of things Drew can Do" it is a constant, wet challenge to get this kid clean! But it is so much fun, so between splashing a chewing on his blue rubber ducky, bath time is now one of his favorate times. it use to be just a thing we did, but now, Oh boy! He is almost out grown his little ducky tub too. That thing was heaven sent, expecially now that our sink is broke!
And baby food, gee wiz, its the coolest thing. he loves his fruits and veggies! He can chow down on a can like its going out of style! This kid really needs to stop growing.
Today also marks the first day little man is sick, my poor cuddle bug has the sniffles, congested and a runny nose, on top of being all mellow which isnt normal for my rolly polly explorer, i had seeing him so sad and glum, but he is a trooper and is right now playing on his saucer and chomping down his cheerios.
